Transparent padding preserves the source proportions; stretch fills a square. Neither option removes a background already in the PNG. Animated PNG input is rejected; use a still PNG. Browser memory can impose a lower practical limit.
Each selected frame gets a checkerboard preview. The download name lists the selected sizes, and the result shows the actual generated byte count. Larger frames do not recover detail missing from a small source.
